"Isidro, Our Friend" is the opening story of my unpublished collection of short fiction Sleeping in Jeans. It takes place at a POW camp in the hills of Cuenca, Spain, as Franco's dictatorship is coming to a close.

"Visitations" is a tongue-in-cheek play on Luigi Pirandello's overly-meta stageplays. Art, especially literature, should be accessible to everyone. In this story, I reshape many of the ideas Pirandello examined and present them in a modern world, full of methadone and ESPN.
